I’ve been trying my hand at Copperplate calligraphy recently. I thought this “Abomination” was pretty nice. Except for the slight blob at the leader for the “b.” I think something was stuck in the tines of my nib. And also the uneven cross bar of the “t.” Still working on that.
Why “Abomination”? Why not?
Have you ever heard that unicorns poop out rainbows? I have. And it’s never made any sense to me. Poo (which as a word is 20% funnier than all of its synonyms) it’s solid waste. Rainbows are not solid. I would be willing to accept that rainbows are unicorn farts though. I mean, it still technically doesn’t make sense but it’s not as big of a leap as rainbows::poo.
Anyway, painted this because my a-pushing friend has decided that gossip should now be called “unicorn poo.” And I immediately saw this imagery in my head. In watercolor no less. But with more glitter. I haven’t flirted glittered this one yet. Because gross. Glitter.
