Lettermo Day #7

Postcard swap!  This swap is pretty much the same thing as postcrossing.  Heh.

This postcards is on it’s way to Texas via swap-bot, particularly for this swap.  The recipient is apparently a deltiologist and part of her collection includes postcards of cities along with the name of the city in the front.  I have a few of those in my collection and I thought maybe she’d like this one, even though it’s not really a city but a small island.  I’m not even sure what’s on the island.  I’ve never been to the Bahamas before.  It doesn’t really seem like a place I’d like anyway.

Stamp watch!

Exact postage!  I should probably start finding some interesting stamps to put on these things if I’m going to continue with the stamp watch.

Lettermo Day #6

Multiple postcard swap!

These three postcards are on their way to Texas via swap-bot, particularly for this swap.  The recipient didn’t have anything specific in their profile about postcards so I sent a mix of things.  She said she had young nieces, so I thought they might like a Toy Story postcard and a Where’s Waldo postcard.  I suppose her fiancé might like the Batman one.  I included a short note, as well.

Stamp watch!

Exact postage on an interesting envelope!  Exact postage wasn’t hard.  It’s just a letter being sent first class.  The interesting envelope is from another swap, one in which we traded a bunch of handmade envelopes.
