Finally, I drew something from the list.  Here are my angry animals, which were the second suggestion on the list.

Angry Animals

I actually draw the first suggestion about a lazy robot, but I can’t seem to find that file.  I may have accidentally deleted it.  It seems strange that I would have done such a thing, but I can’t find it anywhere on my hard drive.  Therefore, I must have deleted it.  Oh well, I can always draw it again.  And I never intended to draw things from the list in order.

So my angry animals are arguing.  Originally, it was supposed to be a zebra and a lion arguing.  I figured they would have stuff to argue about.  But then I got lazy and I didn’t actually want to draw the stripe pattern on the zebra.  If you don’t get the pattern right, a zebra ends up looking like a horse or donkey that’s trying too hard.  And I didn’t want that.  So I made the zebra a donkey.  Or maybe it’s a horse.  The ears are kind of small for a donkey.  But that tail is definitely not a horse tail.  Well, maybe it’s a zebra who decided to get spray tanned…gray.

I like the lion’s fro.

Uh…so this one isn’t part of the 100 random things list either.  This one again comes behest my coworker.  He didn’t request for me to draw sentient, rampaging hate.  It kind of came out of one of our conversations in which I was hating everything so hard that the hatred was going to become sentient and rampage around the client site.

Now I feel like I should qualify the type of hate that I was feeling.  You know how when you have a tight deadline and you’re working hard to meet it?  And then everything in the world conspires against you to keep you from meeting that deadline?  And how you subsequently feel about everything around you, no matter how inoffensive and innocuous that thing is?  Yeah.  That’s what I’ve tried drawing.

Actually, it was supposed to be more globby and slimey with the pulsatey glow.  But I got lazy.  So it’s not very globby at all.  But I should be.
